We’ve managed to secure £2000 from the University of Glasgow Chancellor’s Fund. This is a huge help towards the costs of the project and we are massively grateful. We now have enough funding to book our flights.
In addition to the Chancellor’s fund we have also heard that we potentially have a 3D printer to take with us to Rwanda which could be a perfect tool to help engage and inspire. This would be donated by University College Dublin.
Our main focuses just now are ensuring the success of our launch event (which will be taking place in less than two weeks) and making sure that the project is well publicised in order to raise awareness of what we are doing.
Pictured below is the FemEng in Rwanda Team, profiles from each of the team members are to follow shortly.
